Wilson’s Gutter Cleaning Scheduling/Weather Policy
Wilson’s Gutter Cleaning strives to meet the needs of our customers in a timely manner. However the safety of our employees is paramount and will not be compromised in any way, shape or form. There are times that inclement weather will postpone the cleaning of gutters and are as follows:
-Rain: If it has rained significantly within the past 12-24 hours gutter cleaning can not be performed because both the ladder rungs and roof will be slippery and chances of falling increases dramatically.
-Snow: If there is snow on the roof gutters cannot be cleaned and the roof will need to be free of snow and water before cleaning can take place.
-Ice: If there is ice on the ground or on the roof gutters cannot be cleaned due to the slip and fall risks.
-High Winds: If wind gusts or sustained winds are considerable the ladders necessary to clean gutters are at risk of blowing over and causing damage to your property or injury to our employees.
-Heat: Heat might be the most dangerous of all. During late spring and summer months roof temperatures will be well in excess of 100 degrees this poses great risks of heat exhaustion and believe or not burns to our employees from the heat of the shingles.
In closing, we make EVERY effort to reach each customer on a first come first served basis. If you have an appointment scheduled for a certain day please understand this is subject to change due to the weather conditions above.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with this policy please let us know prior to scheduling your cleaning.
